OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Omaha Public Schools board president Marque Snow said in a Facebook post Tuesday that he has tested positive for COVID-19.

Snow said he's postponing all events, low/no-contact campaigning, and withdrawing from participation in non-virtual events until he's re-tested by public health officials and confirmed negative.

"As recommended by public health experts, I am also urging those who may have come in direct contact with me over the previous 14 days to schedule testing and use appropriate self-quarantining to protect themselves, loved ones, and the community," he said.

Snow urges Omahans to wear masks and practice social distancing.
