OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Omaha Public Schools is taking another step toward opening a new elementary school.
Monday night, the district's board will vote on a name for the the new school near 32nd and Burt. A committee has recommended the name Gifford Park Elementary. The school's mascot and colors will also be up for consideration.
A bond passed in 2014 will help pay for the school.
