OPS fires Gregory Sedlacek, adds staff training

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The OPS teacher accused of sexually assaulting several girls in his first-grade class at Fontenelle Elementary no longer has a job.

The school board approved the firing of Gregory Sedlacek, 30, without discussion Monday night.

At the meeting, Superintedent Cheryl Logan said all OPS staff members will undergo training on mandatory reporting on child abuse.
