ASHLAND, Neb. (KMTV) - More than 700 people gathered for a record-breaking turnout at Mahoney State Park to honor friends and family who have donated an organ.
Sunday marked the 40th anniversary of Nebraska Organ Recovery and its mission to donate life through organ donation.
Meals were donated by Dickey's Barbeque and served by the New Hearts Organization, a group of organ recipients.
