Tristen Smith, 24, has been cited for DUI, reckless driving, open container and drug paraphernalia after a car accident early Wednesday morning left three hospitalized with serious, non-life threatening injuries.
Smith's passenger, 22-year-old Kayla Connolley, was being treated for aches and pains. The driver of the other vehicle, 62-year-old Paul Gaudreault, was also being treated for aches and pains while his passenger Darlene Gaudreault, 60, was being treated for a fractured hip.
Police say Smith was driving his GMC south on 72nd and Decatur when he struck Gaudreault's Honda Pilot.
According to a report, Smith was not injured in the crash.
