PAPILLION, Neb. (KMTV) - Papillion Fire says an overnight blaze destroyed two homes and damaged another.

With multiple fires burning simultaneously, Papillion fire enlisted help from departments around the area, including Bellevue, Ralston and Omaha.

"The first house was pretty much gone, it was through the roof when they (fire crews) arrived on the scene," Papillion fire chief Jeff Jones said, "so we operated in defensive fashion on the first house, crews entered the second house and were able to knock down the fire."

The third house was damaged on the outside.

There were no injuries reported and an investigation lead by the Papillion fire department is on-going. The cause of the fire is unknown.
