Painted horses near the CenturyLink Center are a reminder of fallen Omaha Police Officers.
The eight-life sized horse statues honor all of the officers who died in the line of duty.
They will be near the Centurylink Center while the Equestrian World Cup is going on.
The artwork is designed to remind people of the work area police officers do.
The horses will auctioned off this spring to benefit the Omaha Police Foundation.
