PAPILLION, Neb. (KMTV) — OMAHA. Neb. (KMTV) - A local cheerleading squad has been asked to quarantine after a member of their squad tested positive for COVID-19.

Our news partner, The Omaha World-Herald, is reporting that a letter was sent home to families in the Papillion La Vista Community Schools.

It said one cheerleader had tested positive after attending an outing for pictures and dinner last Sunday.

The cheerleader who tested positive was never in school.

The quarantine is expected to last through August 23.
