Pet lovers of all types gathered this afternoon for the Catered Bowl Pet Fest at Stinson Park Saturday.
The event was free for pets and their owners and this year's event featured training demos from the Nebraska Humane Society, a K-9 demo from first responders and other events.
There were also prizes handed out for best-dressed pet and a pet parade.
"The idea was to have a place for a group of people to come, bring their dogs, and just relax on a Saturday afternoon," the event's marketing coordinator Heather Torres said.
The organizers hope the event becomes an annual tradition.
