Three people were treated for injuries after a crash caused a pickup truck to hit a bar in south Omaha Sunday night.

The crash happened around 9:30 p.m. near 42nd and H streets.

Police say the driver, identified as 28-year-old Mischelle Flores-Cortes, of a southbound 2014 Dodge Charger was speeding when the vehicle collided with a northbound 1998 Dodge Dakota pickup truck as it was turning left to head west on H Street.

The collision forced the pickup truck to hit the Last Call Saloon as the Charger continued southbound and hit a wooden power pole and retaining wall, according to police.

Police say the driver of the pickup truck, 47-year-old Dawn Meyo-Herold, was treated for aches and pains.  A passenger, 63-year-old Kim Herold, suffered a fractured back.

A passenger in the Charger, 20-year-old Ajay Tanuvasa, had a neck injury.

Police say Flores-Cortes ran from the scene of the crash, but later returned. She was arrested to face charges of leaving the scene of a personal injury accident.
