Police: $629,000 ring stolen from vehicle in Creighton Prep parking lot

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) - Two people were arrested for stealing a wedding ring that police say is valued at $629,000. 

According to an OPD release, 61-year-old Ralph Dorsey and 52-year-old Monique Pierce broke into a passenger window and stole a purse containing the ring from a vehicle in the Creighton Prep parking lot Saturday. 

Later that day, detectives were able to locate the ring and other items from the theft. Dorsey was charged with theft by unlawful taking items $5,000 or more and Pierce was charged with theft by receiving stolen items $5,000 or more.
