Police have arrested a man they say left a hit-and-run crash at the Oak View Mall at the beginning of February.

30-year-old Alejandro Lara-Lozano was arrested after police say he hit two girls from Marian High School and fled the scene.

The driver, 16-year-old Madi Reed, had a fracture in her back and a shattered heel. The passenger in the car was in the ICU for several days.

Reed said she is doing better and should be back at school this week.

Police say Lara-Lozano is being held on leaving the scene of an accident with serious injury or death.
