An Omaha man ended up in the hospital after crashing during a police chase.
Nebraska State Troopers tried to stop 42 year old Jason Pemberton of Omaha for speeding on Interstate 80 eastbound near 36th Street around 2:30 Saturday morning. Pemberton refused to stop and the chase began. About two miles later, the pickup Pemberton was driving left the road, went up an embankment and crashed through a fence and hit three vehicles near 20th and Ontario Street.
Pemberton was taken to Nebraska Medicine for treatment. Two passengers ran away and police are still looking for them. Troopers say the pickup was stolen.
