Ralston Police have released the identity of the body found Wednesday in a garage following an accident near 82nd and Seymour streets.
The body was of a man named Jessi I. Domingo, 23, of Omaha, according to a press release from Ralston Police Chief Marc Leonardo.
Just after 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, Ralston officers were initially called to the scene of a one-vehicle accident in that area that caused "considerable damage" to a a fence, a wooden power pole, and an apartment garage, the statement says. The driver involved in that accident was taken to the hospital and release with minor injuries.
Just after 11 a.m. the same day, a body was reported found in a garage across the street from the scene of the accident.
The investigation is ongoing, but at this time, police believe the two incidents are not related, according to the statement.
