Omaha Police officers are investigating a shooting that occurred near 35th and Sorensen Friday evening.
According to OPD, it happened at around 4:41 pm.
According to witnesses, a black male suspect walked up to the victim who was standing in front of the address listed above and shot him.
The suspect then fled southbound on foot.
The victim was transported to the University of Nebraska Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The victim was identified as 33-year-old Daries Devers.
The suspect has been described as a light skinned black male wearing a tan hooded sweatshirt.
