Omaha police is asking for the public's help locating a hit and run driver after a car struck a person near 35th and Leavenworth Saturday.
Police say a man was hit by a car while crossing Leavenworth and the driver of the car did not stop.
Christopher Vavra was seriously injured, and police are looking for the driver of the car.
The vehicle is described as a dark colored sedan with damage to the passenger side.
