Omaha Police released surveillance photos of the vehicle they believe was involved in a deadly hit & run early Wednesday morning.
20 year old Creighton nursing student Vindhya Puttagunta of Folsom, California was walking with another student near 27th & Burt when she laid in the middle of the road to get his attention, and was struck by an oncoming car that kept going.
Police are looking for a black 2006 to 2011 Chevy Impala with dark tinted windows and possibly large chrome wheels. Anyone with information should call the Omaha Police traffic office at 402-444-5626 or Crime Stoppers at 444-STOP (7867)..
