Council Bluffs Police responded to an armed robbery on the Iowa side of the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge early Thursday morning.
Police say a man and a woman were approached by three armed people wearing masks, who showed guns and forced them to empty their pockets.
As the suspects were leaving, police say they fired several shots. The victims were not injured and the suspects have not been located.
