OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Last night, the Omaha Police Department (OPD) responded to an assistance call from Bellevue Police involving an apparent road rage incident.

21-year-old Denilson Perez-Alva told officers that he was involved in a disturbance with a suspect near 24th and L Streets. There, Perez-Alva claims a man exited a BMW and assaulted him. After being assaulted, Perez-Alva said he left the area in his vehicle, but was tailed by the man in the BMW as well as a Ford sedan.

While traveling southbound on Highway 75, between L and Q Streets, Perez-Alva said a suspect in the Ford shot at and hit his vehicle multiple times.

The victim continued south to Bellevue and called 911.

Anyone with information regarding this event is asked to call OPD.
