Council Bluffs police are searching for a man who fired shots Saturday evening at the 1400 block of 4th Ave.
The victim told officers that an altercation broke out when he parked his car outside, angering a neighbor who demanded he move the car. The man went back into a house and returned with a long barrel firearm and fired warning shots in the air.
The victim moved his car and called police.
Officers created a perimeter around the house and tried to make contact with the suspect in the home.
It was later determined that the suspect was not inside the house and couldn't be located.
Police say this is an active investigation and asks anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 712-328-7867.
