Ponca Tribe's Prairie Flower Casino to open Nov. 1

The Ponca Tribe's Prairie Flower Casino will have a ribbon cutting at 9 a.m. on Nov. 1 and will officially open to the public three hours later at noon. 

According to a release, the casino is in phase one of the project is 9,500 square feet and includes 200 slot-style games, table games will not be available when it opens. However, the casino will have a full-service bar and a snack bar. 

Proceeds from the casino will go the Carter Lake community and service programs for continuing education, land preservation and cultural arts for tribal citizens.
