OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — A power outage caused by a squirrel caused the Douglas County Election Commission to temporarily stop early voting on Friday. Power was restored after about an hour and a half.
The outage impacted the area of 120th and Center.
OPPD troubleshooters remain on the scene to finalize repairs.
On Saturday, the Election Commission office will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to serve voters. The office will also be open for voting on Monday.
