High sales have boosted the estimated Powerball jackpot to $450 million.
Nebraska Lottery officials said the Multi-State Lottery Association increased the jackpot Tuesday because of strong sales since no there were no winners for Saturday’s drawing.
The prize has grown over seventeen consecutive drawings without a jackpot winner.
It is the fourth largest jackpot in the history of Powerball, according to Iowa Lottery officials.
The next drawing is on Wednesday.
