President Donald Trump has approved a federal disaster assistance for 30 Iowa counties hit by storms in June and July.
The storms brought deadly floods in the Des Moines area and straight-line winds caused more damage.
The declaration does not include the tornadoes that hit Marshalltown, Pella and Bondurant in mind-July.
