After Politico Pro reported President Trump had tentative plans to visit Council Bluffs, it was confirmed Tuesday he will be in town on Oct. 9.
The rally will be the President's 39th in Iowa and fourth in Council Bluffs since 2015.
In Iowa there are several tight midterm races as well, with Republican Governor Kim Reynolds facing a challenge from Fred Hubbel and Rep. David Young in a close race with his Democratic challenger Cindy Axne.
