OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Today is an important deadline for Omaha home owners.
It's the last day to pay the first half of the yearly Douglas County real estate taxes without paying a late penalty.
The county treasurer's office will be open an extra half hour today for those who want to pay in person. Online payments are also available.
