The Douglas County Sheriff's Office confirms that one person has died in a crash in Waterloo.
According to authorities two people were on a motorcycle when it was involved in a crash with a semi truck near 264th and West Center before 6 p.m. tonight.
One person on the motorcycle died. The other person was transported by medical helicopter to the hospital.
The driver of the semi was not injured in the crash.
Investigators are speaking with witnesses to try to get a better understanding of what happened.
