OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Yesterday, Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts made waves when he outlined what he calls "five of the top problems with legalizing marijuana in Nebraska." Today he doubled down as the Nebraska legislature gets ready to debate LB 110 this week which would make medical marijuana legal in the state.
The Governor released this tweet today:
This week, the Nebraska Legislature will debate LB 110, a proposal to legalize marijuana under the guise of medicine. This proposal would put Nebraska on a path toward liberalizing our drug laws, which in many states has already resulted in recreational marijuana.
