Road closures/restrictions on 60th, 24th, 144th and more

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Omaha's Public Works Department has announced several road projects which will be in effect between one week and five months.

They are:

  • Beginning Saturday, July 6, 2019, at 1:00 p.m., North 60th Street between Fort Street and Ogden Street will be restricted to one lane in each direction for utility work in the South bound lanes by MUD and will be in effect for seven (7) days.
  • Beginning Monday, July 8, 2019, at 9:00 a.m., North 24th Street between Caldwell Street and Indiana Street will be restricted to one lane in each direction for utility work in the North bound and South bound inside lanes by TSI Mechanical and will be in effect for fourteen (14) days.
  • Beginning Monday, July 8, 2019, at 9:00 a.m., Mike Fahey Street between North 15th Street and North 16th Street will be closed, including the intersection of North 15th Street for sewer installation by RPL Construction and will be in effect for five (5) months.
  • Beginning Monday, July 8, 2019, at 9:00 a.m., the intersection of South 144th Street and Pacific Street will have various lane restrictions for street repair by DIY and will be in effect for fourteen (14) days.
  • Beginning Saturday, July 6, 2019, at 9:00 a.m., Pacific Street will have West bound traffic shifted to the center lane at South 75th Street for utility work in the North section by MUD and will be in effect for ten (10) days.
  • Beginning Monday, July 8, 2019, at 12:00 p.m., South 120th Street will be restriction to one lane South bound at Pacific Street for fiber optic installation in the inside lane by Viacom and will be in effect for four (4) hours.
  • Beginning Monday, July 8, 2019, between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m., the intersection of North 90th Street and Indian Hills Drive will have various lane restrictions for fiber optic installation by Greenleaf and will be in effect for two (2) nights.
