OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The spare change in your pocket can go a long way in helping out a veteran in need this holiday season.
Hy-Vee has launched its holiday program Homefront Round-Up.
Customers can round up their grocery bill to the nearest dollar and that extra change will go to various veteran organizations.
For eight years, Hy-Vee has supported veterans in this mission and several other programs.
It’s not just change you can donate — you can round up to whatever dollar amount you feel comfortable with.
On Veterans Day itself, Hy-Vee will be doing their free breakfast for local veterans and active-duty military members. This time, it will be a drive-up breakfast event.
