OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — To help people looking to renew their vehicle registrations or pay property taxes, the Sarpy County Treasurer's Office is adding hours and online check-ins.
“I’m excited to offer our residents a more flexible schedule and additional hours,” Sarpy County Treasurer Brian Zuger said. “We know people are busy and we value their time, so the new hours will make it easier and more convenient to visit our office.”
According to a release, office hours will be from 7:30am-5:30pm Monday-Friday starting on April 6.
In addition to staying open longer, the office will begin offering online check-ins at Sarpy.com/Treasurer and through the Qless app which is available for Apple and Android devices. After checking in, guests will be notified via text or through the app which will allow them to see what wait times are like and choose when to go to the office instead of waiting around the whole time.

"This should help minimize our lines and help reduce wait times,” Zuger said.
The Sarpy County Treasurer's Office wants to remind people they can skip lines entirely using the website Sarpy.com/Treasurer.
