Saturday evening shooting injures two

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Two people sustained minor injuries in a shooting near 30th & Arcadia Ave on Saturday evening, according to Omaha Police.

At 6:41 p.m., police responded to a ShotSpotter alert of gunfire in the area.

Officers located a scene upon arrival and discovered a house and two vehicles were hit by gunfire.

Victims Dionne Moody-Hudson and Brian Hudson were located by police near 56th & Sorenson Pkwy.

Authorities say Moody-Hudson appeared to have a gunshot wound and Hudson had minor injuries from debris. Their vehicle was also hit by gunfire.

Medics transported both Moody-Hudson and Hudson to Immanuel Hospital for treatment.
