Sunday afternoon, Westside DECA students alongside the Kim Foundation, spread awareness about the impact of suicide.
The Save a Life 5k was held at Towl Park as part of a project by the whole DECA chapter. The event had information available about mental health and resources for suicide prevention.
Despite cold temperatures, organizers say turnout was strong.
