School bus crash sends 15 to hospital

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) - Omaha Police are investigating an accident involving a school bus this afternoon.

It happened near 108th and Fort around 4 o'clock. The bus apparently collided with a lighting truck, then rolled down a hill and crashed through the fence of an OPPD substation. 

The bus driver and two eight year olds went to Nebraska Medicine for treatment of injuries that are not considered life threatening..     

Another dozen students were taken by different school bus to Children's Hospital to be checked out and were released.

OPPD crews had to cut power to the substation before the bus could be towed away.
