Schools put safety tech to use to protect athletes

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Concern for athletes suffering concussions and studying the link to chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) has been on the rise in recent years. With that, concern for student-athlete safety has come to the forefront for parents and schools in the Metro.

Tonight on 3 News Now Live at 6, Reporter Jon Kipper will show you how one school, among others, is putting safety tech to use to protect players and help them get them the care they need after concussive hits.
