Septemberfest starts today

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — If you and your family are looking for some fun this weekend, an annual Labor Day tradition kicks off Friday. SeptemberFest officially starts at 5:00 p.m, with the carnival being held in Lot D of the C-H-I Health Center. The event includes rides, games, and concerts.

Monday morning, Omaha's largest parade will move through downtown, with Omaha World Champion boxer Terence Crawford serving as the Grand Marshall.The parade starts at 16th and Cass Streets, and heads south on 16th Street to Capitol Avenue, then continues east on Capitol towards 10th street, and ends by heading north on 10th Street to Mike Fahey Street.

The SeptemberFest event ends on Tuesday, September 3rd.
