LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) — Today, investigators with the Nebraska State Patrol (NSP) arrested a Seward County Sheriff's Deputy for first-degree sexual assault following an investigation that began in 2018.
30-year-old Nicholas Bridgmon of Pleasant Date was placed under arrest in connection to a sexual assault that occurred in 2007 outside Cook, Nebraska. The NSP believes that there may be additional victims linked to Bridgmon as well.
The Seward County Sheriff's Office said that Brigmon has been placed on administrative leave and that there is no reason to believe any misconduct occurred while he was employed with its offices.
