Sheriff's Office releases names of Highway 50 fatal crash victims

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) - The victims in Monday's deadly crash on Highway 50 have been identified by the Sarpy County Sheriff's Office. 

According to a release 38-year-old Jennifer Penick and 44-year-old Adam Penick died after their white minivan crossed over the median and hit southbound pickup truck. Unity Penick, 5, also sustained an injury to the arm. 

The driver of the truck, 41-year-old Bobbi Gerdes was taken to Bergan Mercy with lower extremity injuries. Two other vehicles carrying five total passengers were involved, but those passengers were uninjured.
