Health officials say levels of smoke in the air are expected to be unhealthy for everyone, and those with asthma, lung disease, chronic respiratory issues, heart disease, and older adults and children are especially vulnerable. Everyone is advised to stay inside and avoid strenuous physical activity.

The main impact is expected to be this morning and the air quality is expected to improve throughout the day.
