Snow plow rear-ended by suspected drunk driver on I-29

A snow plow was rear-ended on I-29 near mile marker 53 early Sunday morning.

Council Bluffs police say the driver of the DOT snow plow had pulled over to the shoulder and got out the snow plow to remove roadside debris.

The snow plow driver was nearly hit by a Dodge Ram truck driven by 24-year-old Steven Clark of Belton, MO. The man had to run out of the path of the Dodge Truck to escape being hit.

Clark drove into the back of the snow plow which had its hazard lights flashing.

Clark was arrested for Driving While Revoked and Resisting Arrest. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash. Additional charges are pending.
