Thursday morning's heavy snow prompted a number of churches to cancel their Christmas Eve services, others were still on.
Christmas Eve is a major time for churches as people by the thousands fill pews to worship.
At Saint Peter's Catholic Church on 28th and Leavenworth. There were 5 masses, 2 in English, 2 in Spanish and one in Vietnamese.
Father John Broheimers tells KMTV each mass will probably being in 500-800 people despite the weather.
"There will be thousands, the weather wont affect our attendance. The Catholic Church doesn't cancel and people know that. If they can, they will be here," said Broheimer.
