Nebraska State Senator and former Omaha Fire Chief Mike McDonnell was arrested for a DUI a little before 1 a.m. Thursday morning.
According to Sarpy County records, McDonnell refused to submit to a breath-alcohol pretest and test and was pulled over by the State Patrol after failing to stay in his lane.
His court date is set for March 21.
