Dozens of Omaha teens had a sneak peak at the future and the chance to check out the working world this week.

Teen students were exposed to the worlds of robotics, digital video production and health care through the Step-Up Omaha program, which provides jobs and paid internship opportunities to students and young adults during the summer months.

In partnership with the Omaha Public Schools and Career Center, the students in the Career Exploration Immersion Experience program focus on completing week-long projects related to different fields.

The program will provide four other hands-on immersion workshops throughout the summer that include a UNO and Bellevue University tour, Public Safety and Fire, Executive Leadership Woodmen Life and others.
