For the first time since 2000, the Kansas City Royals are coming to Omaha to play their AAA team.
UPDATE: Monday's exhibition game canceled due to weather
The last time the Royals played the Storm Chasers, the game was held at Rosenblatt Stadium back when the team was known as the Omaha Golden Spikes.
"I sure hope the fans are excited. We are," Storm Chasers general manger Martie Cordaro said, "we're very eager to host the Royals again."
The first pitch is at 6:05 p.m. and it is the Royals' first-ever game at Werner Park.
