OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Yesterday, the Lincoln Police Department says a woman came home to find parties she knew robbing her apartment. One of them was laying on the ground, allegedly having slipped on ice, breaking his leg. Shortly after, police were able to locate the man at an area hospital and say charges are pending.

Police say the alleged victim saw several parties leaving her home with TV's, a phone, a wallet with cash, shoes, a dvd player, a hat, and a debit card from the apartment she shares with two roommates. The victim says one of the suspects was laying on the ground, holding her TV and screaming that he had broken his leg.

Before officers reported to the scene, the suspects left in a truck but were ultimately located when police received a call about a suspect with a broken leg at an area hospital.

Police say a female suspect, 35-year-old Sherry Gomez, and the male suspect were both located at the hospital. The female was arrested and all of the stolen property was located in their vehicle, in the parking lot.

The male suspect will remain at the hospital for the time being due to ongoing medical needs but will be issued citations at a later date police say.
