The Omaha woman who allegedly shot Shadaisja Hill, 15, appeared in court for the first time Wednesday.
Catessa Barnum, 25, was ordered to be held on $500,000 bond for first-degree felony assault and use of a weapon to committ a felony.
Shadaisja's mother Porcha tells 3 News Now Barnum opened fire near 36th and Lake Saturday and a bullet hit her daughter. Shadaisja was taken off life support Tuesday night.
According to court documents, Barnum and Porcha Hill, 33, have a long history of civil disputes, including threats made toward each other.
