Omaha Police are investigating after a suspect under investigation ended up in a medically induced coma.

Police found 25-year-old Andrew Hiykel in an SUV near 49th and S street around three this morning.

Investigators say Hiykel acted figetedy and an officer found a white substance and a rolled up dollar on his lap.

Paramedics took him to CHI Bergan Mercy where he lost consciousness and doctors put him in a medically induced coma.

State records show Hiykel got out of prison last August after serving half of a three year sentence for meth possession and theft.
