COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa. (KMTV) — The Tangier Shrine Circus returns to Council Bluffs in late February for seven family-friendly performances.
Shows will feature acrobatic America's Got Talent semi-finalists The Chicago Boyz, along with quick-change artists, trapeze acts, the motorcycle "Globe of Death", plus the Tangier Circus clowns and Keystone Kops.
The three-ring event will also showcase animal performances, including elephants and dogs.
A special Circus Fun Fair, held two hours before each show, gives fans a chance to meet some of the show's stars and ride a few animals. The free petting zoo will make a return, along with face painting and bounce houses.
The 2019 performances are:
– Thursday, Feb. 21 at 6:30 p.m.
– Friday, Feb. 22 at 7 p.m.
– Saturday, Feb. 23 at Noon, 4 p.m., and 8 p.m.
– Sunday, Feb. 24 at 1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
General admission tickets are $18. Reserved seats are $25 and $35, depending on the seat's location.
