Teen arrested for alleged road rage incident

Posted
Douglas County Deputies arrested a teenager for an alleged road rage incident Wednesday afternoon.

Deputies say to people reported that two men driving a gray Saturn had followed them from 171st and West Center to 264th and West Center yelling obscenities at them. The victims pulled into a gas station to call for help. The occupants of the Saturn drove by and the front passenger pointed a gun out the window in a threatening manner and drove off.

Deputies found the Saturn nearby and pulled it over. They say 18 year old Gage Fitzpatrick had a pellet gun that closely resembled a semi-automatic handgun in his waistband and was uncooperative with deputies. The other occupants of the vehicle verified the victims' story and distanced themselves from Fitzpatrick's actions.

Deputies booked Fitzpatrick for two counts of terroristic threats.
