A teenager has been killed after she was hit by a vehicle in Shenandoah., IA Tuesday morning.
According to Iowa State Patrol Troopers, At around 7:16 am, they were dispatched to a fatal accident at the intersection of Hwy 2 and A Ave in Shenandoah.
Offcials say a 14-year-old Shenandoah student was running southbound on A Ave for Cross Country practice.
As she crossed highway 2, she was struck by an eastbound 2002 Mercury Sable driven by Brent McKinnon, age 27 from Clarinda.
The 14 year old student was identified as Kinsee Rooker from Shenandoah. Rooker died at the scene.
